THE NEW GED® TEST
Starting in 2014, there is a new GED® test. The previous version of the GED® test and scores for incomplete tests expired on December 31, 2013. The new test is computer-based, more expensive ($130 in Florida), and requires some content knowledge from the Common Core Standards. It offers dual performance levels where test-takers can earn the high school equivalency credential as well as an additional endorsement that indicates career- and college-readiness.
