Florida's Adult Literacy Resource Center is seeking five programs/projects to be featured on the Promising Practices in the Literacy Education section of the Resource Center’s website.  Please check out the 2009 featured programs at http://www.floridaliteracy.org/pp.html

The following criteria will be considered in the selection:

  • Evidence of effectiveness
  • Unique and/or innovative qualities

  3. Be featured in the Literacy News, FLC's state newsletter

If selected, you will be asked to:

  1. Provide additional information about your program and the featured “promising practice” such as, services provided, description of practice, challenges overcome, and the impact and effectiveness of the initiative.
  2. Be available to answer questions about your project from others in the field.

It's fine to nominate your own program, in fact we encourage it!

We know you are doing great things and we would love to hear about them. Thank you for sharing!
