Yes, We Count! FLC's Census 2020 Adult Education Campaign, sponsored by Florida Counts

Census 2020 Adult Education Campaign

We are excited to share that FLC received a grant from Florida Counts to conduct a statewide adult education campaign to promote and support participation in the 2020 national Census. Adults with limited English language and literacy skills have historically fallen into one or more groups in the hard-to-count category in each census count. There is a lot at stake for Florida communities. You can play a key role in informing your students about the census, why it's important, and what to expect.

Census Resources

FLC will send promotional kits to 25 adult education and literacy providers. Each kit contains:

  • Florida Counts-branded aluminum water bottles for student giveaways (5-12 depending on number of students)
