GED Prep and Beyond
This is an independent study plan specifically designed for the 2014 edition of the GED exams. It is free to use, but you must “join the next class” for assignments.

Education Portal offers free courses that will help prepare students to pass nationally accredited standardized tests. They offer courses for all five subject areas of the GED test and other courses that can translate to college credit.
Florida Adult and Technical Distance Education Consortium Free GED Course
The GED: Key to Success course uses the motif of keys—keys that unlock each student’s academic potential. Students review lessons in five academic areas: writing skills, social studies, science, literature, and mathematics. Practice quizzes and exam questions, along with the expert advice of the instructor, prepare the student for the test. Enrollment is generally on an open entry/open exit schedule.

LiteracyLink GED Connection Practice Tests
LiteracyLink online has ten free practice tests — two for each of the five subjects on the GED® Exam. While they are not "Official Practice Tests," all of the questions were either written by or have been vetted by GED Testing Service. Each test is half the length of the actual GED Test and will give you some idea how ready you might be for the real tests. These online tests are free, but you do need to create an account on the LiteracyLink website to take the full tests. Each test has 20-25 questions and takes about 40-55 minutes to complete.
